Review: Lies by T.M. Logan

img_7850Genre: Thriller

Rating: 4.0/5.0 Stars

Publication Date: September 11, 2018

Main Takeaway: A fast-paced thriller you won’t want to put down, and whose twists will keep you guessing until the very end!

*I received this novel from the publisher, St. Martin’s Press, via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I received no compensation for this review, and the opinions expressed were not influenced by this transaction.*

When Joe Lynch sees his wife in a heated argument with Ben Delaney, he steps in. Little did he know that one action could drastically change his life and could reveal terrible, long-hidden secrets. Suddenly when Ben finds himself pitted against a faceless enemy hell-bent on ruining his life, he must figure out a way to save himself and his family.

Lies starts off with a bang and keeps surprising you until the very end. Hooked from the very start, I inhaled this book, and I resented the moments in which I had to put my kindle down and wait to keep reading. It’s been a long time since I’ve read a thriller that kept me sitting on the edge of my seat like this, that pieced together every detail of the novel for a perfect reveal, that made me want to immediately start the book again and look for the clues I missed, the puzzle pieces I didn’t fit together. Lies was so much more than I expected it to be.

This review is short, and honestly, I could go on for pages about this book. But I don’t want to. I won’t tell you about the characters. I won’t tell you about the reveals or the suspense. You have to experience them for yourself. If you choose to pick up Lies, I envy you your first read of it.
