Top Five Reads of 2018

It’s almost Christmas time, and that means the end of another year I hope was filled with large mugs of tea and more good books than you could handle. To celebrate the holiday season, or maybe you’re looking for a good gift for your book-loving friends and family, I’ve picked out my five favorite reads of 2018. All 2018 releases, all full of spine-tingling suspense, all guaranteed to keep you up all night!


The Broken Girls by Simone St. James

Why You Should Read it: Murder, scandal, and ghosts in a snow-covered, small-town Vermont. What more could you want?

An Unwanted Guest by Shari Lapena

Publication Date: August 7th, 2018

Why You Should Read it: Fans of Agatha Christie, pay attention. This modern adaptation of And Then There Were None will keep you guessing to the very last page!


The Woman in the Window by AJ Finn

Publication Date: January 2nd, 2018

Why You Should Read it: Why wouldn’t you read it? The most-hyped book of 2018 lives up to its reputation and surprises you at every turn! AND you simply must read it before the movie comes out.

The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager

Publication Date: July 3rd, 2018

Why You Should Read it: Because Riley Sager has quickly become a favorite author of mine since reading this and his debut novel, Final Girls. Any fans of thrillers or a good mystery must add Riley Sager to their list (and he has a third novel coming in July – catch up quick!!).
